I-HOT, metered hot water services

Starting a new venture is an audacious and often nerve wracking process. Dedication to the  goal, ground work and solidarity of the idea are the few things which form a strong foundation for the idea to flourish into a successful business.

I have been following few business ideas in and around Bangalore and one such venture that has gained enough ground and has been receiving laurels is the I-HOT  water heating services provided by Anu Solar power thermal Pvt. Ltd supported by RWE Power AG, Germany and Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, India, executed as a CDM project.

It is India’s first and only metered water heating service. This service claims of multiple facilities. First, they provide you free equipment. Second, you are charged 5 Paise (0.05 Re) per litre of hot water you use. It is eco friendly and saves upto 75% energy which is otherwise used in regular water heating process and most importantly it is 24X7 service.

Another attractive facility is the carbon calculator which helps you find your carbon footprint. I will post another detailed article about carbon footprint calculation. Now, without foraying away from the topic, I will suggest the enterpreneuers-to-be and the people interested in green businesses take home a lesson and start thinking on the lines of IHOT water heating services.

    This sounds like a novel idea. Any Idea wat will be the initial investments and the growth plan for such a business??

    I think something similar can be done in smaller towns also. I think we can capitalise on such ideas
